McNair Scholars Program

The Ronald E. McNair Post Baccalaureate Achievement Program is designed to help prepare undergraduate students from disadvantaged backgrounds for doctoral studies through involvement in research and other scholarly activities. The goal of the McNair program is to increase the number of financially disadvantaged, first generation, and minority undergraduate students to pursue and complete a doctoral degree. The University supports these goals by waiving the application fee for qualified McNair Scholars who provide the required forms submitted with the Graduate School application.
