CHEM 789 - Graduate Seminar I (1 unit) Seminars led by faculty and students to introduce research areas and initiate thesis and dissertation research. For first year graduate students. Maximum of 2 credits.
Units of Lecture: 1 Offered Every Fall and Spring Student Learning Outcomes (if available): Upon completion of this course: 1. Students will be able to analyze chemical literature and research seminars thoughtfully and critically. 2. Students will be able to communicate advanced chemistry concepts in writing in a clear and concise manner. 3. Students will be able to explain ethical principles in a scientific context.
