MATH 301 - Introduction to Proofs: Logic, Sets and Functions (3 units) Logic; mathematical induction; elementary set theory; functions; properties of integers and real numbers. Heavy stress on mathematical proofs. Credit may not be received for MATH 301 if credit has already been awarded for MATH 310 .
Prerequisite(s): MATH 283 with a “C” or better.
