ACE 400 - Career Studio Internship Program (1 to 3 S/U only units) Professionally supervised work experience in government or private entity, providing students with practical experiences. Does not substitute for departmental internship requirements. May be repeated for up to 6 credits.
Offered Every Fall, Spring, and Summer Student Learning Outcomes (if available): Upon completion of this course: 1. Students will be able to identify, assess, and develop personal and professional strengths. 2. Students will be able to identify areas of professional development and develop strategies to improve in those areas. 3. Students will be able to apply academic knowledge to solve practical, real-world problems in a professional setting. 4. Students will be able to develop professionally relevant competencies and relationships in a professional setting. 5. Students will be able to evaluate career choices and further define career goals. 6. Students will be able to evaluate one’s own performance in light of one’s expressed learning objectives.
