AGSC 316 - Internship (1 to 3 units) Coordinated work-study programs in industry or government under the direction of a faculty adviser. Written progress reports are prepared periodically and at the conclusion of the internship.

Grading Basis: S/U Only Offered: Every Fall and Spring Student Learning Outcomes: Upon completion of this course: 1. Students will be able to articulate and demonstrate improvement in professional etiquette - exhibit courteous, considerate, professional and respectful conduct. 2. Students will be able to demonstrate professionally relevant competencies and relationships in a professional setting. 3. Students will be able to develop a professional portfolio that relates to other academic experiences including Core and within their major classes, personal awareness and growth, diversity, professionalism and industry engagement. 4. Students will be able to combine critical thinking and analytical skills related to workplace issues.
