APST 793 - Independent Study (1 to 3 units)
Intensive study of a special problem in applied statistics.
Offered: Every Fall, Spring, and Summer
Student Learning Outcomes:
Upon completion of this course:
1. Students will be able to develop a rationale for the particular problem they wish to study and present it in a proposal.
2. Students will be able to summarize and critique existing theory and research on the problem.
3. Students will be able to propose and defend a plausible solution.
