CEE 480 - Structural Concrete Design I (3 units) Analysis and design of reinforced concrete members for flexure, shear and axial loads; deflection of beams; bond and development of reinforcement.
Prerequisite(s): CEE 372 with a “C” or better.
Units of Lecture: 3 Offered: Every Fall Student Learning Outcomes: Upon completion of this course: 1. Students will have an ability to design a system, component, or process to meet desired needs within realistic constraints such as economic, environmental, social, political, ethical, health and safety, manufacturability, and sustainability. 2. Students will have an ability to identify, formulate, and solve engineering problems. 3. Students will have an understanding of professional and ethical responsibility. 4. Students will have an ability to use the techniques, skills, and modern engineering tools necessary for engineering practice.
