Student Learning Outcomes:
Upon completion of this course:
1. Students will be able to demonstrate appropriate linguistic proficiency in writing and verbally.
2. Students will be able to identify and retrieve academic journal articles that relate to personal health topics.
3. Students will be able to summarize the content of an academic journal article and relate to course content.
4. Students will be able to describe how individual health depends upon a complex interplay of social, behavioral, environmental and biological factors.  
5. Students will be able to develop a plan to improve personal health that that includes goals, measurable objectives, related activities and expected outcomes.
