Supervised independent study and reading with regular conferences between student and instructor. Maximum of 6 credits for master’s and 9 credits for doctoral students.

Upon completion of this course:
1. Students will be able to develop the ability to read and critically evaluate relevant scientific literature in the specific topic area of the course.
2. Students will be able to summarize current research and critically review the literature pertaining to a research project.
