CS 302 - Data Structures (3 units) Data structures and algorithms fundamental to computer science; abstract data-type concepts; measures of program running time and time complexity; algorithm analysis and design techniques.
Prerequisite(s): CS 202 with a “C” or better.
Units of Lecture: 3 Offered: Every Fall and Spring Student Learning Outcomes: Upon completion of this course: 1. Students will have an ability to design, implement, and evaluate a computer-based system, process, component, or program to meet desired needs, within realistic constraints specific to the field. 2. Students will have an ability to function effectively on multi-disciplinary teams. 3. Students will have an ability to communicate effectively with a range of audiences. 4. Students will have a recognition of the need for, and an ability to engage in continuing professional development and life-long learning. 5. Students will have a knowledge of contemporary issues.
