Emphasizes the characteristics of effective teachers in contemporary classrooms. Includes field experience.

Upon completion of this course:
1. Students will be able to demonstrate preparedness for the Integrated Elementary Teaching Program and the rigors of a pre-service teacher candidacy by utilizing the theory and practice gained through lecture, class participation, assignment completion, and field experience.
