EE 220 - Circuits I (3 units) Introduction to analysis methods and network theorems used to describe operation of electric circuits. Includes resistive, capacitive and inductive components in DC and AC circuits.
Prerequisite(s): PHYS 181 with a “C” or better. Corequisite(s): EE 120 (EE majors only); EE 220L (EE majors only).
Units of Lecture: 3 Offered: Every Fall and Spring Student Learning Outcomes: Upon completion of this course: 1. Students will have an ability to apply knowledge of mathematics, science, and engineering. 2. Students will have an ability to use the techniques, skills, and modern engineering tools necessary for engineering practice.
