EL 760 - Practicum in Computer Technology for Administrators

(3 units)
Practical experience and individualized instruction in the use of computer technology in educational administration settings. Areas of interest emphasis selected by the student and instructor based on skill level and specific needs dictated by the work environment.

Student Learning Outcomes:
Upon completion of this course:
1. Students will be able to demonstrate understanding of various computer application, software, and web-based resources.
2. Students will be able to demonstrate skills and knowledge related to evaluation, selection, and applications for integration of technology within the teaching and learning process.
3. Students will be able to demonstrate understanding of effective methods of integration of technology into the teaching, learning, and administration.
4. Students will be able to demonstrate knowledge and skills related to resource allocation, financial planning, and facilities issues related to technology.
5. Students will be able to demonstrate understanding of social, legal, and ethical practices necessary to promote responsible use of technology.
