Student Learning Outcomes:
Upon completion of this course:
1. Students will be able to situate their topic in its proper historical/theoretical context.
2. Students will be able to synthesize primary and the relevant secondary literature to write a well-supported introduction to their thesis topic.
3. Students will be able to frame and engage with critical and theoretical debates appropriate to their thesis topic.
4. Students will be able to produce a manuscript of professional quality that makes a novel scholarly contribution to the critical conversation.
