FIN 301 - Principles of Managerial Finance (3 units) Business and corporate finance, investments and international finance. Topics include business financial management.
Prerequisite(s): ACC 202 ; MATH 176 ; Business major or minor. Corequisite(s): ECON 262 or prerequisite of STAT 152 .
Units of Lecture: 3 Offered: Every Fall, Spring, and Summer Student Learning Outcomes: Upon completion of this course: 1. Students will be able to demonstrate a basic understanding of financial markets and intermediaries, and basic financial securities. 2. Students will be able to apply time value of money and discounted cash flow valuation methods to a variety of cash flow patters such as annuities, perpetuities, and uneven cash flows. 3. Students will be able to demonstrate the basic understanding of the relationship between risk and return.
