Introduction to issues, methods, and faculty members. Required of all history graduate students.

Student Learning Outcomes:
Upon completion of this course:
1. Students will be able to interview professors in the history department about their research and paths towards professionalization.
2. Student will analyze a variety of historical methods to develop their research skills.
3. Students will be able to demonstrate professionalism and skills for careers in history.
