Student Learning Outcomes:
Upon completion of this course:
1. Students will be able to interpret historical information found in primary and secondary sources. Identify the points of view and major points of argument and compare.
2. Students will be able to describe the recent and current political geography of Europe, European colonies, and post-colonial work.
3. Students will be able to demonstrate awareness of, and ability to analyze, the impact of broad historical forces in the twentieth century.
4. Students will be able to contextualize a problem in the contemporary world by developing a discrete list of points of analysis.
5. Students will be able to identify sources for research and production of analysis.
6. Students will be able to collaboratively create a presentation.
