MGT 423 - Advanced Topics in Organization and Interpersonal Behavior (3 units) Selected behavioral influences affecting decision making, organizational structure, including organizational power and politics, change and development, and/or creativity.
Prerequisite(s): MGT 323 ; Business major or minor.
Units of Lecture: 3 Offered: Every Fall and Spring Student Learning Outcomes: Upon completion of this course: 1. Students will be able to develop skills for managing conflict, both in organizational work settings and interpersonally. 2. Students will be able to develop a “voice” and critical thinking skills necessary when approaching debatable issues that may cause conflicts in organizational settings. 3. Students will be able to utilize their own experiences and case studies to recognize the principles of conflict and the techniques for its productive management.
