Upon completion of this course:
1. Students will be able to read and critically evaluate relevant academic literature in the specific topic area of the colloquium section taken.
2. Students will be able to demonstrate an advanced level of competency in the specific topic area of the colloquium section taken.
3. Students will be able to discuss the relationship of a specialized area of public policy to the broader context of the field and to their own research interests.
4. Students will be able to summarize current research and critically review the literature pertaining to a research project.
