1. Students will be able to describe institutional and historical context of East Asian politics.
2. Students will be able to contrast different political systems within East Asia.
3. Students will be able to discuss political challenges of East Asian countries.
4. Students will be able to apply concepts and theories to analyze East Asian politics.
5. Students will be able to discuss different approaches to the study of East Asian politics.
6. Students will be able to appraise how domestic politics of East Asian countries impacts economy and foreign policy.
