PSC 490B - Internship: Legislative (3 to 6 units) Students are assigned to work with a legislator during a regular session of the Nevada Legislature. Regular written reports on observations and work activities are required.
Maximum units a student may earn: 6
Prerequisite(s): PSC 101 or PSC 210 .
Grading Basis: S/U Only Offered: Every Fall and Spring Student Learning Outcomes: Upon completion of this course: 1. Students will be able to articulate the basic structure and limitations of the Nevada legislature. 2. Students will be able to complete specific tasks linked to their assigned duties for members of the state legislature. 3. Students will be able to discuss the relationship of their experiences working in the Nevada legislature to the broader context of legislative studies.
