Upon completion of this course:
1. Students will be able to relate theoretical arguments to hypotheses.
2. Students will be able to analyze the statistical characteristics of a single variable.
3. Students will be able to assess relationships between two variables.
4. Students will be able to apply their knowledge of univariate and bivariate analyses to the analysis of multivariate data.
5. Students will be able to evaluate an original theoretical argument about some political phenomena using quantitative methods in the form of a research paper.
