SPA 790 - Doctoral Seminar in Speech Pathology (3 units) Comprehensive study of special issues, questions or problems in the field of speech-language pathology.

Units of Lecture: 3 Offered: Every Fall, Spring, and Summer Student Learning Outcomes: Upon completion of this course: 1. Students will be able to read and critically evaluate scientific literature in the topic area of the seminar. 2. Students will be able to demonstrate an advanced level of competency in the topic area of the seminar. 3. Students will be able to summarize current research and critically review the literature in the topic area of the seminar. 4. Students will be able to develop a feasible research project in the topic area of the seminar. 5. Students will be able to demonstrate mastery of literature and research proposal by oral examination in the topic area of the seminar.
