SRJS 775 - Legal Regulation of Sex, Pregnancy and Family (3 units) Examination of legal regulation of sexual and family behavior from psychological, sociological, ethical and justice perspectives. The effects on families, health, minorities and society.
Units of Lecture: 3 Offered: Every Fall - Even Years Student Learning Outcomes: Upon completion of this course: 1. Students will be able to critically analyze legal regulation of sex, pregnancy and family from a range of historical and epistemological traditions. 2. Students will be able to defend and criticize psychological, sociological, ethical and justice perspectives on legal regulations. 3. Students will be able to explain verbally and in writing a unique, original position based on previous research, justice principles and legal theory.
