Use and understanding of the oral history interviewing for the purpose of historical research for academic, public, and applied history.

Upon completion of this course:
1. Students will be able to evaluate and compare the theories of and approaches to oral history practice.
2. Students will be able to synthesize and utilize their understanding of oral and public history .
3. Students will be able to contextualize and understand oral histories in a broader historical context.
