PAS 671 - Adult Medicine (7 units) Adult Medicine covers the basic principles of management of common medical conditions seen in the adult population.
Units of Lecture: 7 Offered: Every Spring Student Learning Outcomes: Upon completion of this course: 1. Students will be able to explain the basic principles of management of common diseases occurring in adult medicine. 2. Students will be able to distinguish the common diagnostic tests used to diagnose adult diseases. 3. Students will be able to evaluate the various signs and symptoms associated with common adult diseases. 4. Students will be able to integrate history and physical exam skills with the content learned in Adult Medicine to diagnose common adult diseases.
