ME 656 - Introduction to Tribology (3 units) Technological advancements in the areas of friction and wear; surfaces and surface interactions at the micro- and nano-scales; friction and wear of engineering materials as well as influencing factors.
Units of Lecture: 3 Offered: Every Spring Student Learning Outcomes: Upon completion of this course: 1. Students will be able to understand the impact of engineering solutions in a global, economic, environmental, and societal context. 2.
