STAT 705 - Probability Theory

This course provides a rigorous foundation in probability theory. Topics include probability axioms, random variables, distributions, moments, moment generating functions, limit theorems, and special topics.

Prerequisite(s): STAT 352  or STAT 461  or STAT 661 .

Student Learning Outcomes:
Upon completion of this course:
1. Students will be able to work with univariate and multivariate distributions.
2. Students will be able to compute moments of random variables.
