CEE 390 - Environmental Engineering Systems: Principles and Design (3 units) Application of fundamental scientific and engineering concepts for the design of physical, chemical, and biological treatment processes used in conventional water and wastewater treatment facilities.
Prerequisite(s): CEE 204 .

Student Learning Outcomes Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: 1. identify, formulate, and solve complex engineering problems by applying principles of engineering, science, and mathematics. 2. apply engineering design to produce solutions that meet specified needs with consideration of public health, safety, and welfare, as well as global, cultural, social, environmental, and economic factors. 3. acquire and apply new knowledge as needed, using appropriate learning strategies.
