CTL 620 - Sociocultural Concerns in Education (3 units) Analysis of equity issues in contemporary schools. Concerns relative to access, participation, and benefit are addressed in relation to education for culturally pluralistic student populations.
Grading Basis: Graded Units of Lecture: 3 Student Learning Outcomes Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: 1. analyze issues of equity in contemporary schools through discussion. 2. evaluate concerns relative to access, participation, and benefits addressed in relation to education for culturally pluralistic student populations through discussion. 3. discuss concerns relative to access, participation, and benefits addressed in relation to education for culturally pluralistic student populations in a final paper.
