ECON 495 - Seminar in Economic Research (3 units) Complete an economic research project, including a literature review, written economic analysis, and oral presentation. Review a variety of research methods, tools, and illustrative examples.
Prerequisite(s): ECON 302 or ECON 303 or ECON 441 .
Grading Basis: Graded Units of Lecture: 3 Student Learning Outcomes Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: 1. demonstrate the appropriate graphical technique for presenting and describing time series and cross sectional data. 2. derive and test a specific hypothesis given a general economic or policy question. 3. conduct and present results from a multivariate analysis.
