EECB 701 - Research Rotation I, II (3 units) Intensive research experience in ecology, evolution, and conservation biology research methods. Written reports on each research project required.
Grading Basis: Graded Units of Independent Study: 3 Offered: Every Fall, Spring, and Summer
Student Learning Outcomes Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: 1. carry out an advanced, independent research project on a topic for which the supervising faculty is an expert. 2. discuss research rotation results in the context of the scientific literature. 3. articulate and follow ethical principles in a scientific context, including the communication of literature research without plagiarism, the crediting of collaborators and standards for co-authorship, and principles of intellectual property.
