Student Learning Outcomes Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: 1. read and critically evaluate relevant scientific literature in the special topic of modern conservation biology. 2. discuss the relationship of a specialized area of conservation biology in the broader context of the field and to their own research interests. 3. summarize current research and critically review the literature pertaining to a specific topic in conservation biology.
