Student Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:
1. recognize commonly used words, expressions and questions in familiar contexts in conversation.
2. employ correctly a wide range of phrases and sentences in basic and common social conversations.
3. derive limited meaning from reading materials on topics related to course materials.
4. recognize new words using visual clues in non-complex reading material.
5. write grammatically correct sentences in a short loosely organized paragraph.
