Student Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:
1. analyze the major plays and poems of Shakespeare in their cultural and historical contexts.
2. enhance critical thinking, oral communication, and writing skills through literary analysis.
3. articulate the importance of performance to the interpretation of drama.
4. explain the generic features and major themes of key texts from Shakespeare’s canon.
