GEOG 416 - Spatial Analysis (3 units) Numerical techniques applied to geographical studies. Description, inference, and modeling of point patterns and georeferenced data. Practical experience with analytical software.
Prerequisite(s): A course in college-level statistics.
Grading Basis: Graded Units of Lecture: 2 Units of Laboratory/Studio: 1 Offered: Every Fall
Student Learning Outcomes Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: 1. compare methods and tools for analysis and interpretation of spatial data. 2. apply appropriate spatial statistical tools to solve problems within their area of interest. 3. communicate the results and findings of spatial analyses in written, verbal, or graphical formats.
