GEOG 435 - Conservation of Natural Resources (3 units) Basic information regarding current and future problems and methods of conserving this country’s renewable and nonrenewable resources.
Prerequisite(s): One of the following: junior or higher standing; or at least three credits or work in geography or geology or a biological science.
Grading Basis: Graded Units of Lecture: 3 Offered: Every Spring
Student Learning Outcomes Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: 1. evaluate human and physical phenomena that relate to the conservation of natural resources. 2. analyze and apply conservation concepts and theory to real-world and hypothetical situations. 3. communicate the subject matter in written, verbal, or graphical format.
