HIST 417B - California History (3 units) Study of social, political, economic and environmental events from early Euro-American contact to present.
Grading Basis: Graded Units of Lecture: 3 Student Learning Outcomes Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: 1. analyze, evaluate, and interpret primary sources. 2. analyze and clearly explain the argument, main points, and use of evidence in secondary sources. 3. clearly and effectively articulate an original interpretation in verbal and written form. 4. identify key events, issues, and policies related to the study of social, political, economic and environmental events from early euro-american contact to present.
