Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:
1. analyze and interpret primary sources from the medieval world through discussions, written assignments, and oral presentations.
2. explain various aspects of medieval religion, culture and society and their development from the end of the Roman Empire to the Renaissance.
3. synthesize, analyze, and convey complex historical information by means of a final project.
