Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:
1. analyze and interpret primary sources from the Greek and Roman world through discussions, written assignments, and oral presentations.
2. explain various aspects of ancient religion, culture and society and their development from the beginning of Greek civilization to the fall of the Roman Empire.
3. synthesize, analyze, and convey complex historical information by means of a final project.
