Student Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:
1. explore and define the main social, cultural, economic, and political forces shaping nineteenth century Europe.
2. analyze and synthesize primary and secondary literature to understand the development of European society in the nineteenth century.
3. demonstrate and develop oral and written communication skills through in-class presentations and written assignments.
4. identify and analyze relevant primary and secondary sources to develop and support a historical argument through the completion of a research paper.
