Student Learning Outcomes Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: 1. integrate classroom learning, theory, and course content with their internship experiences. 2. identify, assess, and develop personal and professional strengths. 3. describe and explain work responsibilities and duties. 4. apply academic knowledge to solve practical, real-world problems in a professional setting. 5. articulate and demonstrate improvement in professional etiquette (including time management, dress code, formal versus informal protocols, etc). 6. develop professionally relevant competencies and relationships in a professional setting. 7. articulate and demonstrate team work, collaboration, and leadership. 8. articulate how the internship experiences align with career options, interests, and skills (i.e. how have experiences expanded, directed, or confirmed career options, interests, and skills).
