MET 423 - Comminution (3 units) Understanding the mineral processes of sampling, liberation, size reduction with unit process selection.
Prerequisite(s): MINE 322 .

Student Learning Outcomes Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: 1. communicate the fundamental concepts of comminution. 2. communicate the importance of liberation in mineral processing. 3. judge the efficiency of size separation units. 4. compose the comminution flow sheet for a particular operation. 5. supervise and manage comminution circuits.
