Student Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:
1. identify the major musical contributors to French melodie, Bristish and American Song.
2. demonstrate cursory knowledge of the literary players important to both French melodie, Bristish and American Song.
3. build an understanding of the historical context and trajectory of both French melodie, Bristish and American Song.
4. develop active listening skills by being exposed to a wide array of French melodie, Bristish and American Song.
5. develop the ability to perform repertoire from the various styles of French melodie, Bristish and American Song.
