MUS 255 - Jazz Keyboard Techniques I

Classroom instruction in rudimentary keyboard chord voicing, comping and soloing in the jazz style.

Prerequisite(s): MUS 110.

Student Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:
1. play II-V-I progressions in all keys with several voicings and inversions.
2. play chord progressions from a lead sheet.
3. play blues progressions in several keys.
