Student Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:
1. build and analyze complex chord constructions that appear more frequently in Romantic era compositions.
2. analyze techniques related to post-Romantic styles of composition, particularly Impressionism, atonality, and serialism.
3. demonstrate familiarity with other movements in 20th century Western classical art music following serialism.
