PSC 403K - Problems in American Public Policy (3 units) Analysis of selected contemporary problems in American public policy.

Prerequisite(s): ENG 102 ; CH 201 or CH 202 or CH 203 or CH 212 ; Junior or Senior standing.
Grading Basis: Graded Units of Lecture: 3 Student Learning Outcomes Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: 1. read and critically evaluate relevant academic literature in the specific topic area of the colloquium section taken. 2. demonstrate an advanced level of competency in the specific topic area of the colloquium section taken. 3. discuss the relationship of a specialized area of public policy to the broader context of the field and to their own research interests. 4. summarize current research and critically review the literature pertaining to a research project.
