Student Learning Outcomes Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: 1. recognize major themes in Russia’s political history that explain Russia’s current governance. 2. identify and analyze the major governing institutions in Russia. 3. recognize major themes that explain Russia’s political culture. 4. examine the role of corruption in governing Russia. 5. evaluate the state of Russia’s human rights practices.
