Student Learning Outcomes Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: 1. identify and address ethical, legal, and personal challenges that occur during therapy and supervision. This includes such issues as mandatory reporting requirements and awareness of ethical challenges such as the inherent dual-role problem that could exist in supervisory relationships. 2. explain the principles of adherence and competence in the practice of clinical psychology. 3. demonstrate an advanced level of competency in applied clinical skills and develop repertoires for providing and receiving supervision that facilitates one’s own and others’ abilities.
