SCM 352 - Operations Management (3 units) Quantitative methods and models for decision making. Topics include linear programming, plant layout, technological change, quality control, line balancing, inventory models, and simulation.
Prerequisite(s): ECON 262 ; MATH 176 ; declared into a business major or minor.
Grading Basis: Graded Units of Lecture: 3 Offered: Every Fall, Spring, and Summer
Student Learning Outcomes Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: 1. recognize the need for alignment between a company’s Operations and its strategic and Sustainability goals. 2. predict future sales revenues for a variety of condition. 3. assess and manage inventory levels to effectively and efficiently meet demand.
